Man you're not kidding.. Did it on my Integra.

You can clear the hell out of it though and that helps a little bit. Sucks if you don't want it shiny though!

I am going to be doing a mid-mount intercooler setup. Well... its half mid mount.

This is basically where its gonna be but the intercooler needs modified to clear the headlights. Intercooler will be back a few inches and the inlet and outlet will be angled back toward the engine bay.

from what i know a mid mount just mounts where your condensor used to be instead of down behind your bumper support where it can take all kind of damage mid mount is a little harder to damage and also gives you that sleeper look because its hidden better lol, thats just what i know i could be totally wrong though

You are correct. A mid mount mounts right in front of the radiator and has shorter piping and less risk of damage. Just curious if that's the way you're going.

buddy of mine got a pbm midmount set. It is pretty nice. I was shocked that it had a nice dense core.

I am not sure of the brand of intercooler. Bought it off a friend. I brought it to a local welding place to get fabbed. And yes, I am going midmount. I like the idea of having better response from the engine. :)
